Billing Clarification

For all information regarding billing on your Ringy account, navigate to the Billing page in the left hand menu.

Free Trial

When you sign up with Ringy as a brand new user, you begin the free trial as you are not immediately charged the subscription. This is to allow you to see if Ringy is the right fit for your business. The free trial comes with 250 SMS credits, 250 Voice Minute Credits, 10 phone number credits, and $5 on your account balance.

My Subscription

Every time you pay the subscription, you will automatically receive 1,000 SMS Credits and 1,000 Voice Minute Credits. By default, your subscription will be automatically set to renew, and your default payment method will be charged the subscription amount at the end of your current subscription for another 30 days. You cannot pay for your subscription with your account balance. Subscription payments can only be charged to a payment method on file, which is entered in the My Payment Methods section. To turn off auto-renew please call support at 720-764-5467.
You can boost your subscription with the following add-ons:

Add-ons renew when your subscription renews for the amount specified. If you're updating your subscription with an add-on during a current subscription, the amount for the add-on will be prorated depending on how many days remain on that current subscription. If you no longer wish to renew an add-on, you can unselect it in the Add-Ons section to avoid it renewing the next time your subscription renews. Be sure to choose "Update Subscription" when making any changes to your add-on selection. 

Your subscription + add ons may be subject to sales tax depending on your billing address jurisdiction. Your billing address entered in the My Payment Methods section is used for calculating the appropriate sales tax. Click the "Subscription Info" drop down in the My Subscription section to view a breakdown of sales tax applicable to your jurisdiction. 

My Funds

Regardless of having credits remaining, you always need a positive account balance to utilize your Ringy account. Your account balance can be funded in the My Funds section in the top right corner of the Billing page. You are able to set automatic recharge amounts for your Ringy account balance. You will find the “Auto-recharge my account balance” toggle to turn on to configure your auto recharge settings in the My Funds section!

Ringy will initially pull from credits when you are sending text messages, making phone calls, and renewing phone numbers.  You will find how many credits are remaining on your account in the My Funds section. Please note, your remaining account balance and unused credits will roll over month to month, and do not ever expire.
When credits are zeroed out and have been used, that is when usage is taken out of your account balance. For example, if it says 0 Voice Minute Credits, that means any future outbound calls would be drawn from the remaining account balance for $0.01 per outbound minute. Likewise, if you have 0 SMS Credits, usage will be drawn from your account balance for $0.01 per SMS segment.

  • Free inbound texts and phone calls
  • $1 per local phone number per 30 day period
  • $10 per toll-free phone number per 30 day period
  • $0.01 per outbound text*
  • $0.01 per minute for outbound phone calls**
  • $0.03 per outbound MMS
  • $0.001 per outbound email
Most texts are limited to 160 characters. Click here to learn more about SMS character limits. Additionally, voice minutes are rounded up to the nearest minute. This means if the duration of the call was 40 seconds, that would be 1 voice minute.

Billing History

To view a full breakdown of what you have been charged and when, scroll to the bottom right of the Billing page to find the Billing History section.
The Payments tab will display all charges to your payment method(s) on file. You can customize the date range in the top right corner of the section to view payments made during a custom period of time. You are able to Download a CSV file of your payments.
By clicking the Usage tab, you will find an itemized breakdown of your usage and its correlated charges for a custom amount of time as specified in the top right corner. You are able to Download a CSV file of your usage as well as filter by the description of your usage in the drop down menu. 
All A2P 10DLC registration costs are drawn from your Ringy account balance, and not charged directly to your payment method. 
 
There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service, or refunds made should you not use the Service during a period of time when your account is open. No exceptions will be made per our Terms of Service
