Scheduling A Scopey Video Meeting Call

You will find the option to schedule a video call with a lead by clicking on the lead’s phone number anywhere in Ringy, and choosing the Meetings tab with a video camera icon towards the bottom middle of the page. Ringy's video meeting software is called Scopey, and is completely free to use.

After you click Schedule Meeting, Screen Shot 2023-03-13 at 7.20.21 AM, fill out the date and time of this meeting, and whether or not you would like to require a passcode for security purposes as well as record the meeting. You will also see an option to add the event to your Google Calendar. If adding the event to your Google Calendar, you can then set yourself a reminder in Ringy so many minutes prior to the event.

Once you click "Create Meeting," it will not automatically send anything to the lead. It will populate a link to copy and you can either text or email it over to the lead. For you to initiate the video meeting, you will click the "Join" button now populated. Test this out with a colleague or family member to ensure you know what it looks like moving forward for both you and your leads.

Upon completion of a recorded Scopey meeting, go to the “Dashboard” page. Under the section “Appointments” you will see the tab “VIDEO MEETINGS”. Ensure you select “END” if it is still highlighted. The text will change to “Completed recording: processing”. The download does take some time, but ensure it will download.

Once it has been completed, that section will now read “Completed recording: View”. By selecting “View” it will take you to a new window with the link and video displayed.

Additionally, you can access this completed recording by going to the clients “Leads” page. Under the tab “MEETINGS” you will see it displayed as “Completed recording: View”. By selecting “View” it will take you to a new window with the link and video displayed.
