How does the Power Dialer decide which leads to call next? The Power Dialer's selection process for the next lead to call follows a prioritized series of steps.
Newly uploaded or integrated leads will be immediately available in the Power Dialer "queue" to be called. However, there are many factors determining which lead will show up next to be called.
Ringy will first check for any leads specifically reserved for you that are ready to be called. These leads are given priority.
If there are no reserved leads, generate a lead priority queue:
1. Lead Availability
-
Prioritize leads in the queue based on each lead's availability.
-
You can choose ascending (oldest first, FIFO or First-in-first-out) or descending (newest first, LIFO or Last-in-first-out) order in the dial session settings.
-
FIFO: prioritizes older leads first
-
LIFO: prioritizes newer leads firs
-
-
Update this by navigating to your dial session settings:

2. Campaign Priority
-
For leads available at the same time, prioritize those in higher priority campaigns.
-
You can prioritize campaigns by assigning each campaign a priority between 1 through 10. When multiple campaigns are selected while working the Power Dialer, leads from higher priority campaigns will be selected before leads from campaigns with lower priorities.
-
1 is the lowest priority
-
10 if the highest priority.
-
-
Update this by navigating to your power dialer setup:
- Choose
on the left of the page
- Click the purple pencil beside a current Power Dialer Campaign to edit the priority level:
3. Power Dialer Entry Time
-
If leads share the same availability and campaign priority, order them by their entry time into the Power Dialer.
-
You can choose ascending (oldest first, FIFO or First-in-first-out) or descending (newest first, LIFO or Last-in-first-out) order in the dial session settings.
-
FIFO: prioritizes older leads first
-
LIFO: prioritizes newer leads first
-
-
Update this by navigating to your dial session settings:
4. Lead statuses
- Lead statuses are used in the Power Dialer to determine when or if a lead will be available to be called again.
-
You are able to edit personal Power Dialer statuses to control when to reroute leads back into the queue. You can create or edit personal Power Dialer Statuses by navigating to the Power Dialer Setup,
, and in the Lead Statuses section.
5. Time Zones
- Time zones are adjusted automatically by default in the dial session settings. For example, if it is too early to call a specific lead in their time zone i.e. before 8am in the lead's respective time zone, the lead will not be eligible yet to be called.
In Conclusion:
There are a lot of variables at play when determining which lead will populate next in the Power Dialer to be called. Ringy cannot guarantee any specific lead will populate next to be called.
